One of the LinkedIn members over at the YALI Network (Young African Leaders Initiative Network) asked a question, which I found to me interesting, as a lot of people still ask this: WHAT CAN WE DO TO MAKE AFRICA A LAND OF PEACE.
Here was my answer:
“Live peace and tolerance, teach peace and tolerance, and set a good example for those around you. The only thing we can do is keep working at it regardless of opposition. Realize that there are people who work very hard to continue unrest, conflict, and the rest of the horse-man that bring the plagues that ill man. Without investigating them or speculating on who they might be, we have to resign ourselves to working harder than them, and use all we have to end the reign of intolerance in this world.”
This answer may seem a bit utopian at first glance, however coming to think of it, there are a lot of examples of people who have lived and are living like this.
I would like to find out, what would your answer be to the question: WHAT CAN WE DO TO MAKE AFRICA A LAND OF PEACE.
